Description
The Magnescale GB-A (SR 128) series feature Magnescale® technology, which is reliable in metal cutting environment, offering excellent resistance to oil, dirt, vibration and shock. The GB-A has a compact design (25mm x 21mm) and measuring lengths up to 86" (2200mm) and offer the following features...
- AB/Quadrature TTL signal
- Accuracy of 5µm/M
- Reference mark center or user selectable
- Resolution of 0.5µm
- Operating temperature from 0 to 40C
- Three meter cable with DB9 connector
- IP54 rating
- Same expansion coefficient as machine tools

When upgrading, the GB-ER (SR-138) series has the same bolt hole pattern, overall length and reader head dimensions as the discontinued popular SR128 and GB-A scales, however the output signal for the SR138 is different: 5v TTL. We can assist you with possible adapter cables, based on the model readout being used.
