Description
The Renishaw OMI-2 has been designed to simplify probing system installation on standard machines where a 3m transmission range is sufficient. The OMI-2 unit comprises an optical receiver that communicates with a spindle or turret mounted probe. Probe trigger and control signals are processed by integral circuitry. This unit comes with either an 8 or 15 meter cable and used in conjunction with Renishaw optical probing systems:
