The HEIDENEHAIN ERM 120 modular magnetic encoders are rugged and especially suited for use in production machines with harsh environments.

The HEIDENHAIN ERM 120 incremental magnetic rotary encoders consist of a magnetized circumferential scale drum and a scanning unit with magnetoresistive sensor.  These encoders are available for diameters from 80mm to 410mm and typically used with machines that have large hollow-shaft diameters where protection from dust and splash water is required.  The ERM 120 offers the following features...

• 400µm signal period
• TTL incremental output signal
• System accuracies from 9” to 36”
• Drum line counts from 600 to 3600
• Inner diameters from 40mm to 410mm
• Outer diameters from 75.44 to 452.64mm
