The HEIDENHAIN LIP 6001 series incremental linear encoder with very high accuracy for high-accuracy linear axes up to 3040mm long.  LIP 6001 series has an ultra-small measuring step (<1nm) while able to provide accuracy and position stability, even at high speeds.  Offered with two incremental interfaces: 1 VPP and TTL.  The LIP 6000 series include an integrated multi-colored LED in the connector which delivers immediate information about the scanning signals and reference mark signal, permitting fast functionality checks and reliable assessment at any time without extra aids.

The HEIDENHAIN LIP 6001 series incremental linear encoder offers ultra-high accuracy and repeatability with the following features:

• OPTODUR phase grating on Zerodur glass ceramic
• 1nm measuring step=
• Output signals of either 1Vpp or TTL
• 8µm signal period
• Accuracy grades of 1μm for Zerodur glass ceramic up to 1020mm and 3μm for longer travels
