The NEWALL Spherosyn 2G linear encoders embody a rugged design, where all of the electronics and measuring components are sealed and protected.  The Spherosyn 2G linear encodes can travel up to 120" with an IP rating of 67. 
Not compatible with NEWALL's NMS 800 and  NMS 300 series displays.

The NEWALL Spherosyn 2G provides accurate, reliable readings even when fully submersed in water, oil or coolant.

The NEWALL Spherosyn 2G linear encoders offer the following features...

• Repeatability is within 1 (one) resolution count
• Resolutions of 0.0005` / 0.0002` (0.01mm / 0.005mm)

• Scale Travels: 2` to 462` (51mm to 11.7m)
• Environmental Rating is IP67 (completely sealed - fully submersible)
• Operating Temperature range is from 32° to 131°F (0° to 55°C)
• Scale Material is 316 stainless steel
• Overall scale length is scale travel length + 10` 
• Standard Cable is armored 11.5` and 9 pin D-sub connector

When replacing an older linear scale or display, you may need an adapter cable.
