Description
ERO incremental modular rotary encoders from HEIDENHAIN consist of a disk/hub assembly and a scanning unit. They were conceived particularly for applications with limited mounting space or when all friction must be avoided. Modular rotary encoders of the ERO 1200 series are suitable for shaft diameters up to 12 mm. The graduated disk is slid together with the hub directly onto the shaft, and the scanning unit is mounted and adjusted to it. This enables fast installation. Incremental signals - 5v TTL Quadrature Line count - 48 to 2500 Max. permissible speed (mech.) - 18000 rpm Hub inside diameter D - 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm Power supply - 5V Scanning frequency - Max. 160 kHz
